On average, 1500 students come through our College & Career Center on a monthly basis. We have a computer lab and students come on a daily basis to to work on classwork, homework, multimedia projects, and other projects - utilizing our poor pencil sharpener on an hourly & daily basis, not to mention endless amount of tape and requests for colored markers.' The College & Career Center is a hub of student activity and even though school ends at 2:37 pm, our center closes at 5:30 pm so we can service our students into the early evening hours. Students stay to work on homework, utilize the computer lab, meet with counselors and/or college advisors. Funding the project will greatly help support the needs of our students.
