Middle school students can be super energetic, and accidents happen sometimes. We've had a piano that was placed on X stand fall to the floor a few times in the past. Thankfully there was no permanent damage, but it one repair required removing over 50 screws to reset the keys into place. However, pianos that are placed on a wooden furniture stand such as this are so much more stable, and to this day we have not had a single one of these pianos tip over or fall.\r\n\r\nMy students were so excited when the stand arrived, and they were even more excited to assemble the stand. One class got to work right away with unpacking the materials, interpreting the instructions, and working collaboratively to assemble the stand and bolt the new piano onto the new stand. My students continue to love practicing on the full-size pianos and look forward to their turn in our daily rotation for practicing on these pianos. This case provides superb padding on all sides of the piano to protect it from damage from bumps. The two straps inside hold the piano securely in its spot to keep it from moving around during transit.\r\n\r\nOther convenient features are the front pocket and the handles. The front pocket has plenty of room for a power cable, sustain pedal, and cables for the keyboard amplifier - the power cable and audio cable. The handles make carrying a breeze, whereas before pianos had to be carried under the arm or by two students on either side and had nothing to protect them if they accidentally got dropped.\r\n\r\nThis case is already making a huge difference in our ability to take a piano on the road.
