Collaborative learning has been shown to help students soar. "It allows us to know more than we are capable of knowing by ourselves." Traditional desk are boring and restricting. With round tables, I can group students better based on their needs. It will provide us with more room as my classroom is small. I teach 7th grade Social Studies. . This subject requires a lot of class discussion. Most of my students are low level learners who learn best from their peers. With round tables, students will be able to have better discussions which will in turn deepen their understanding of the topic.
