The band at the high school where I work is in need of students but there are not as many of them that are coming into the program from middle school bands. The challenge now is for me to recruit current high school students for beginning band classes. The school administration supports the idea but, sadly, instruments are of short supply. Purchasing student model flutes & trumpets will enable me to put instruments in the hands of students immediately. My goal is to train these students and help develop them to play at the highest level possible over a four year period.

About my class
