The tools that you have funded will enable students to engage in problem solving deeply connected to their communities and their lives. They will fully explore the Design Cycle, from research and drafting to creation and evaluation. Students are incredibly excited to begin the project. The processes we can explore with a 3D printer will deepen their learning and push them to explain the reasoning they have behind a design. My students were so excited to see the stickers! It is crazy that something that simple is such a huge deal to a child. Every time I put a sticker on a paper they light up! We will be making a present for our moms for Mother's Day by writing on the scrapbook paper all the reasons we love our moms. For example a child could say, \"I love my mom because she makes the best tacos!\" They come up with 10 reasons specific to their mom and then roll the cut up pieces of scrapbook paper up and put them in the Mason jars. The jars are then given a ribbon and a label saying, \"All the Reasons I love my mom!\". Then they decorate a gift bag and hide their jar in tissue paper to create an amazing present that these moms can keep forever! I actually have one from my child who is now in college and I love it so much!\r\nAnther great project we will be using the water colors for is an amazing Earth Day craft. Your generosity has made a meaningful impact on our classroom, and we are truly thankful for the care and support you have shown our young learners.\r\n\r\nIn kindergarten, creativity is one of the most important ways children explore the world around them. Art projects help students practice fine motor skills, express their ideas, build confidence, and develop early problem-solving abilities. Because of your donation, our students now have access to vibrant, durable construction paper that stands up beautifully to the enthusiastic cutting, gluing, folding, and decorating that happens every day in our classroom. The quality of the materials truly matters—when students work with sturdy, colorful supplies, their projects last longer and their pride in their work shines even brighter.\r\n\r\nThe addition of the Cricut machine has also been an incredible gift for our classroom. Teachers often spend many hours preparing materials for projects, cutting shapes, letters, and templates by hand. The Cricut allows us to create precise designs quickly and efficiently, saving valuable time that can now be spent directly with students—teaching, guiding, and celebrating their creativity. Instead of preparing materials late into the evening, we can focus more energy on building engaging lessons and meaningful learning experiences.\r\n\r\nYour support will help us create a wide range of exciting activities throughout the year. Students will use these supplies to make seasonal crafts, build letters and words during literacy activities, design shapes during math lessons, and create imaginative art that reflects their own ideas and personalities. The Cricut will also allow us to prepare personalized materials, classroom decorations, and hands-on learning tools that make lessons more interactive and visually engaging for our young learners.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, your donation sends a powerful message to our students—that there are people in the community who believe in them and care about their education. Even at five years old, children can feel when others support their learning, and that encouragement helps build a lifelong love of school and creativity.\r\n\r\nEvery colorful project that goes home in a backpack, every carefully cut shape used in a lesson, and every smile that appears when students see new materials on the craft table is a direct result of your generosity. You have helped transform ordinary classroom moments into joyful learning experiences.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our students, our classroom, and the future of these young learners.
