The supplies I am requesting will help my students to develop their language and foundational literacy skills. The headphones and privacy carousels will allow each child to work on their individualized computer-based literacy program free of interruptions. I will use the other materials to create phonics and literacy-based centers for students to engage in while I meet with small groups for additional instruction. These centers will help develop phonemic awareness and encourage productive discourse among the students. The stickers and prize box materials are for incentives to promote engagement and social/emotional growth.
