It might not seem like much, but our guys immediately recognized that these weren't just props—they were a new tool for mastering their technique. They were eager to get their hands on them and start drilling. It was awesome to see their focus and determination as they worked on their footwork, hand placement, and blocking techniques. We immediately put them to use by creating a pass protection drill, where players practiced their kick-slide and proper angles around the cans. The ability to simulate a rusher allowed them to get a realistic feel for maintaining their depth and balance. It was great to see them go from understanding the concepts on the whiteboard to executing them on the field with confidence.\r\nThese new resources have made a difference. They've not only improved our practice sessions but also boosted the team's confidence. This project helped my students so much throughout the year. The best part was that this project led to EVERY child was able to have a pair of headphones to use while they were on their Chromebook. The students were so excited to have their own set of headphones. They used them for state testing and for learning games. \r\nThe quality of these headphones are amazing! Every pair held up very nicely and will be used again for this coming school year. They also cancelled out other noises within the classroom. I was in awe over all the students using the microphones on their headphones and not having any issues with hearing other students talking. This definitely impacted student learning because the students were able to focus on their work and not be distracted. All of my testing scores increased through out the year and my students succeeded and were challenged while using their headphones on their Chromebook!!!\r\nLastly, while myself and my students benefited from these headphones so did other teachers. I had a few teachers who borrowed some during state testing. This project helped not only my students but several other first graders!!! We are so lucky to have your support. This has really cut down on the time that we had to spend just waiting to present information. I have also benefited from using the internet for research to improve my lessons. Of course, I had to explain to them where they came from, and how generous you all were in purchasing them for us. I am not sure that they understood exactly where they came from, but they did comment, \"That was so nice of them!\" \r\n\r\nThese devices are particularly exciting for my students because our district does not have touchscreen devices. All of our district technology utilizes a mouse or mouse pad, therefore getting to use a touchscreen is a special treat for them. Some of my students use phones or other touchscreen devices at home to play games, and thus these tablets are viewed in a more positive light than other district technology. Students are swiping and tapping their way to learning new skills through differentiated practice without even realizing they are learning because of the use of these tablets.
