This project will allow my students to participate in imaginative play, express their thoughts and feelings, and build a positive self concept as they are learning through dramatic play. The students will be able to build their literacy skills by engaging in verbal communications through play with their dress-up and house materials. The materials will help the students to advance in their imaginative play and learning without even realizing it through the use of the costumes, cleaning set, and telephone. These materials will allow my students to express their creativity, and advance their communication and social skills while playing collaboratively. These new materials will help the students to build a foundation for learning throughout the rest of their lives.
