My students are fortunate to have access to Chromebooks to use throughout the day. They utilize the Chromebooks when they are on learning games such as Kahoot and ABCya and they receive extra intervention on websites like MobyMax, Starfall, and Splash Math. However, many of these students do not have headphones or the headphones are broken. This makes it very difficult for my students to benefit from these wonderful games and interventions. This project will fund 20 durable headphones. It will allow each student to have access to their own set of headphones and enable each child to listen and learn from their Chromebooks. It will allow for other students not on Chromebooks to focus without added noises. In addition to the headphones, the wobble stools will enable flexible seating and allow for movement while learning. My students love to move throughout the room and sit in seats different from their regular chairs. By giving them flexible seating options my hope is that they will be more motivated to learn, work, and collaborate in all areas of the room. This project will benefit my students greatly as it provides my students with more opportunities to learn and work on their Chromebooks all while sitting in a fun, motivational wobble stool!
