I have noticed a growth in enthusiasm from each student. Each student has been able to explore new learning methods through interactive lessons and digital resources.\r\n\r\nSince receiving the tablets, our classroom has become a more active and collaborative place. Students use educational apps to recognize letters, letter-sound numbers, shapes, and sight words during math and literacy workstations, helping them strengthen early reading and math foundations. These tools are essential for counting, matching, and pattern recognition, giving students meaningful practice in an age-appropriate and playful way. In addition, using the tablets has supported fine motor growth as children trace letters, tap, and drag objects with increasing control and confidence.\r\n\r\nTechnology has also encouraged teamwork and communication among the Orange Goldfish. It was incredible to watch them confidently decode words and read with fluency—something many of them once found frustrating. The materials made the lessons more interactive and gave them the support they needed to truly grow their brains and build foundational skills.\r\n\r\nWe're currently using these resources in a project called \"Word Detectives,\" where students search for sight words, practice decoding strategies, and create their own mini-books. My cheerleaders have been using the donated equipment to enhance their routines, practice their formations, and improve their performance techniques. These items also have helped my team build teamwork and build trust when practicing stunts.\r\n\r\nWhen the items arrived, my team's reaction was a mixture of excitement and maybe a bit of nervousness. Especially of the equipment they had never worked with before! Some of the younger or newer cheerleaders were a little intimidated by things like stunt stands and the stretch bands at first.
