Striving to meet the needs of my students on a daily basis must be done strategically. Having this project funded will assist my students in having consistent access and a method of constant engagement in Math by using iPads. The iPads will be used for workstations where students will connect to higher levels of math when appropriate. They can explore new territories such as fractions, division, and measurement. These workstations will aid in closing the math gap with foundational skills for students who require additional support. My students take the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) test three times a year which cater to their specific academic levels. The test will expose them to skill sets higher than second grade levels and sometimes lower than second grade levels. This project will serve as an additional form of intervention in the classroom.
