Each student will be able to hang 3 pictures this year and at the end of the year we will use our wall as a reminder of all that we have accomplished together this year. \r\nThey are also enjoying the puzzles and love to take a turn quietly working together. Because of your donation we start each day with an exciting morning meeting. The files we purchased on Teachers Pay Teachers are broken down into daily meetings. We start the day with a greeting. Their favorite so far is the \"Bunny Greeting\". Students hop around the room, give each other a high five and say, \"I'm so hoppy you are here today!\" Next we meet in a community circle and share answers to question such as, \"What would you do if you had the ability to time travel? It's fun to hear their answers. I have a very quiet student in my class who always asked to be skipped at the beginning of the year and she is now excited to participate. I'm so glad she found her voice! The final piece of morning meeting is to play a game. We started this right at the beginning of the day also, but now we save the game to break up our long morning and it really helps keep the students motivated to work. These morning meetings are helping our class make connections with each other and help us look forward to being here.
