Because of you, my multilingual kindergarteners now gather each day around a beautiful wooden table that has transformed our small-group learning space. The natural warmth of the wood helps create a calm, inviting environment where students feel comfortable, focused, and ready to learn. When my students first saw the new table, they immediately noticed how its shape gave them more room to sit comfortably and turn to one another for \"turn and talk\" discussions. Their excitement was genuine—they could feel that this space was made for them.\r\n\r\nWe now use the table every single day in all our small-group rotations, and it has quickly become the heart of our classroom. Students eagerly hurry to the table, proud to take their seats and ready to dive into reading and language activities. Your support has made this daily joy possible. Our next big step as learners is mastering how to blend and read words independently, and the new table gives us the perfect space to build those foundational skills together.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in my students and for enriching their learning environment in such a meaningful way. In today's digital age, having a physical photo develop right before their eyes was a magical and uncommon experience. They loved not only capturing their surroundings but also holding the printed images in their hands and sharing them with one another. This instant feedback sparked joy, curiosity, and thoughtful conversations about their world.\r\n\r\nAs their teacher, I was moved to see the pride and excitement on their faces. These clever books changed the course of dialogue with my students. Listening to them discuss the series and express relief when they were able to read the next book made the final weeks of the school year really enjoyable. I regret that the videos I took of my students discussing the Dog Man book series would not upload in the Donor Chose picture gallery. \r\nThese books were flying out of my room and the game was an extremely popular indoor recess activity. The game reinforces reading too, because the cards align to the books. The students took the game to another level when they created the challenge of identifying the specific book from the series the matching pair of cards was from. \r\n\r\nWhat I found disheartening is that my students did not have money to purchase books at the end of the year Scholastic Book Fair. I included the taunting Dog Man display in the photo gallery. So, after having to sit through library time for two weeks without being able to bring a book home, I permitted my students to check out the Dog Man Books for the summer. One would have thought I gave them a jewel by their reaction to take home a dog book for the entire summer.
