Their lunch is at 11 am. By the time I see them at 2 their tummies are already starting to rumble and their focus is not all there. Having some handy snacks to pass out has really helped with their transition into class, settling down, and putting something in their belly helps them focus better on our lesson and their work. \r\n\r\nAnd in terms of wipes, WOW! The art room can be a bit messy. We try to control it, but it can still get messy sometimes. Using the sink is chaos! Having wipes available for students when they need to just get some gunk off their hands really helps to minimize chaos which can quickly get out of control.\r\n\r\nThank you so much. Your donations provided my students with brand new headphones and storage bags. In my classroom, my students use their Chromebook on a daily basis. I have Google Classroom set up which allows my students an easy way to get to the websites they need such as online libraries where they can read books for enjoyment. We also use Lexia and Imagine Math which are intervention programs. Both of these programs give my students individualized lessons on skills they need to work on. The headphones help to alleviate noise in the classroom and keep my students focused on their work. My students were excited to get colorful and comfortable headphones that fit them perfectly. I love having the storage bags because not only do they keep the headphones from getting damaged but they can store them neatly in their cubbies.
