We were able to get a fun spinning wheel to reward the class when they have good behavior. All the students have enjoyed taking turns spinning the wheel to find out what their reward is. Some of the things they have earned are dance party's, sitting by a friend, and telling jokes. We also were able to purchase a classroom set of qwik sticks. This is a fun new tempura paint medium in a stick form. This allows the kids to pant without all the mess. Which is so fun to get to know and interact with them all. \r\n\r\nThe paint quix sticks are awesome!! So easy for our Kinders and 1st graders to use. They glide on smoothly without the extreme mess of water & paintbrushes. \"They work just like a glue stick\" one of our kiddos happily said. They are easy to clean up between rotations ( which is key with when cleaning up one class before the next one comes in.) The kids also felt super important when they saw that they had new paint sticks that not even the big kids had used yet. \r\n\r\nThe board timer really is an amazing tool to have. It keeps me on track of time; the kids can just look up and see how much time is left before they need to clean up. The times up alarm gives them the notice to clean up without me having to get everyones attention; I can continue to help students without stopping to get the attention of the class. It also makes the question \"how much time do we have left?\" pretty much obsolete, which is also a blessing. \r\n\r\nPlease enjoy the pics of our younger kiddos drawing fall trees and leaves with the paint sticks.","fullyFundedDate":1755694771904,"projectUrl":"project/creartivity-flourishes-imagination/9462696/","projectTitle":"CreARTivity Flourishes Imagination","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kara","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10079256_orig.jpg?crop=2343,2343,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753385165555","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10079256"},{"teacherId":5935059,"projectId":9525871,"letterContent":"Flexible seating has allowed my 3rd grade students to choose where and how they sit, which can increase engagement and motivation.
