I am a 1st-grade Chinese immersion teacher. There are about 50 students from two classes in this grade-level program. I plan to have a morning meeting every day. Students will sit on the learning carpet in front of the classroom. First, I will read some Chinese books to my students using the strategies from Languages and Learners. After that, my students will use markers to practice writing Chinese characters on their small whiteboards. Sometimes, I will have my students use my laptop to read aloud to their classmates, and the laptop stand will help my students to use the laptop. I believe that everyone can learn the language they desire with support! Thank you so much!
