Studies show that preschoolers learn best through play! These materials would enable my students to learn about science, and the world around them, in natural play settings. Children with disabilities and typical peers can interact with one another and teach each other while they are making discoveries. I need to provide a variety of engaging materials to my students to provide them with numerous opportunities for learning through out the preschool day. The science bundle, light table, and related materials will be used daily in the classroom to provide maximum exposure to science activities. Each student will have many chances throughout their preschool day to use these materials to practice team work, problem solve, and learn new things.
