When we introduced the machine to the players, they reacted with a lot of excitement and were eager to get started. The MAXBP has allowed our hitters to see consistent pitches and get more quality repetitions in during practice. Instead of waiting for a pitcher to throw each ball, our players can get more swings in a shorter amount of time, which has helped make our hitting practices more productive and competitive.\r\n\r\nThe improvement we have seen already has been very encouraging. Our players are making better contact, showing more confidence at the plate, and beginning to recognize and react to pitches more quickly. The consistent repetition provided by the MAXBP is helping our hitters build better timing and develop more consistent swings. Most importantly, the players are excited about using the machine and are seeing the results of their hard work. Offering snacks, like mini Oreos, Hippeas cheese puffs, and Dots pretzels, was a great way to encourage them to stay and get some work done, rather than merely meet the mandatory check-in requirement and leave. Having them stay provided an opportunity to offer support and check in with these students, some of whom we never met before. This summer school, we saw more students who were willing to stay in class, which was really nice.\r\n\r\nMore than just snacks, your donation helped create a classroom environment where students felt cared for and supported.
