Employment in occupations related to STEM—science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—is projected to grow to more than 9 million by 2022. A MacBook Air provides a platform for my students to participate in a variety of STEM and Career Tech Ed (CTE) related projects, videos, webinars, blogs, etc. Students will collaborate on projects such as webinars so they are able to receive and share information in real-time. Additionally, students will learn how to create and maintain a blog used as an ongoing database that will serve as a frequently updated online personal journal or diary. Students will be able to express themselves to the world and share their thoughts and passions.
