We enjoyed this activity towards the end of the year, when supplies were quite low, but your generosity made all the difference. My students worked on several different writing projects using the pencils, pens, markers, folders, and white boards purchased. I typically have a few reluctant writers, but the new supplies and cafe activity were enjoyed by all! Learning to regulate helps develop healthier life choices, increased confidence, increased resiliency, enhanced focus, and improved emotional control.\r\n\r\nThis calm room has served as a safe haven where students can manage their emotions, practice mindfulness, and learn coping strategies.\r\n\r\nEvery day, I witness the positive impact of providing a nurturing environment for our students.
