My special education resource classroom has students with learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, autism spectrum disorder, other health impairments, and speech/language deficits. They are hard working students who want to succeed and do well in class. Our school has a student body of about 650 with an average class size of 25-30 students. Learning in a large classroom setting is hard for my students so a small group with more direct instruction is an important aspect of their day. They need this specialized instruction for educational advancement.
