Distractions to learning can be external or internal. I can minimize these distractions and support differentiated learning in my classroom with Egg Head Headphones and Bouncy Chair Bands. The headphones will reduce the amount of background noise that disrupts the learning process. The Bouncy Chair Bands can help the few students in my class with ADHD manage the distractions that are internal. Technology is an excellent tool for students with various mastery levels, but often interactive learning activities have their own sound track. With the Egg Head Headphones, my students will have the tools to focus on their own specific activities, without distracting others or being distracted themselves. With these external distractions managed, my few students with ADHD will also be supported in their concentration by having a Bouncy Chair Band to provide appropriate sensory stimulus.
