The headphones will be used daily as students access individualized lessons on their iPads (reading and math). These lessons are customized for each student and helps them master phonics skills in order to become better and more fluent readers and thinkers. White board markers are also used daily as we practice math and spelling skills. The markers are constantly drying out, so a new supply would be greatly appreciated. Scholastic News is a wonderful publication that students really love. It focuses on Social Studies/Science concepts that tie directly into the first grade curriculum. My students read these over and over again and event the most reluctant readers are engaged with this wonderful magazine.
