From working on our decoding reading skills to solving math problems students are consistently engaged in their learning! This is an amazing increase in engagement and therefore learning for our classroom.\r\n\r\nFinally students love the indoor recess materials as well. These materials provide a device free recess for my students that encourages working together, collaboration, teamwork, creativity, and STEM skills. Seeing students smiling and laughing throughout the day brings joy to our classroom.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your generosity. One especially meaningful moment was during a math lesson when every student held up their board to show their thinking. It allowed me to immediately see who understood the concept and who needed support, and it gave students a safe space to try, erase, and try again without fear of making mistakes.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the white boards, their excitement was immediate and contagious. They were eager to use them and couldn't wait to write on them, which instantly boosted engagement. Even students who are usually hesitant to participate became more willing to share their answers, knowing they could easily erase and correct their work. The boards quickly became a favorite classroom tool.\r\n\r\nThanks to these resources, our next steps include using the white boards for more collaborative learning and deeper problem-solving. Students will continue using them during math to explain their reasoning, in literacy for sentence building and spelling practice, and during review games to reinforce skills.
