Kore Wobble Stools, Wobble Cushions, and exercise balls encourage active sitting. This increases focus and promotes better learning for students. Many of the students I work with are diagnosed with ADHD, or have difficulty being still, and simply think better in motion. Passive learning posture leads to decreased oxygen to the brain, and students do better when physical movement is possible while working. The equipment would be used daily, by a variety of students, and are durable enough to last for years. The students I work with could often be categorized as "at-risk." The opportunity to learn and focus more could truly make a positive impact on their future success. I am excited to see all students will be able to accomplish when they can move and learn at the same time!
