My students love graphic novels. These books are always checked out from the library, with your donation, my class can have their own set of graphic novels to choose from. These books help inspire reluctant readers to choose longer and more difficult texts. Graphic novels are written in a comic book format and are very engaging to read. Even a struggling reader will choose these books. It makes them feel successful to be reading a "longer" book. These books can be read in a group setting or with students by themselves. They get kids excited about books and they keep wanting more.
