We would use quality headphones in our 1-to-1 classroom to help enhance learning opportunities and lessons. The headphones will help our learners watch videos individually and at their own pace, without distracting the learning of others around them. The headphones will remain as a classroom set and be cleaned and stored at the end of each day, so that every student is able to have a positive learning experience. Providing these materials in our class will allow us to teach and help reach our learners in additional ways than we have been able to in the past. They will be used during testing, online reading, adaptive math/literacy programs, and intervention videos. This will allow me to work individually with a student or small group of learners, because I can offer a variety of differentiated instruction options to the other learners.
