My kiddos have a thirst for learning and for reading. That desire for knowledge grows when I am able to provide topics they are interested in. Unfortunately many of these kiddos have limited experiences for a variety of reasons. So many of our students at my school are often responsible to get themselves up, fed, and to school on time which may also include brothers, sisters, cousins, or any other kid who lives with them. As a staff and school we try to provide as many of the basic needs that our students have such as clothing or food. So many of us forget that something as simple as bringing a book home to read can be the difference in a student's life!
