This has given the kids a boost to make their own Pop-Up books. \r\n\r\nThe moment we opened the books, students' eyes widened and hands shot up to explore each page. These tactile features are doing exactly what we hoped: sparking curiosity, strengthening comprehension, and inviting even our most reluctant readers to engage with text. We've already used the books to:\r\n\r\nModel \"notice and wonder\" discussions as students discover new details in each scene.\r\nBuild vocabulary in context, using the 3D visuals to anchor meaning.\r\nInspire creative writing—students drafted their own mini pop-up page plans based on favorite chapters.\r\nOne student said, \"It felt like the story jumped out to talk to me!\" Another asked if we could start a \"Pop-Up Friday\" tradition.
