I am a school counselor outside of Philadelphia. I love what I do and can't imagine doing anything else so rewarding. My students are diverse and come from a high poverty area. A majority of the students at my school are on free/reduced lunch. They are amazing but sometimes need help with their emotions, conflict resolution, academic goal setting, and career exploration. I am the only counselor in my school and I work with grades 1-8 so everyday is always different and exciting!
