The heavy duty electric pencil sharpener is a great tool for my classroom. It is used all throughout the day and does an excellent job sharpening pencils quickly and efficiently. My students love the colors and were thrilled to choose their favorite color. It repels water bottle spills and food spills. I love these folders. The large 2 gallon ziploc bags are another great item used daily on our classroom. They are used to store their silent reading books in their desks. They are able to choose a handful of chapter books, picture books or informational books from our classroom library. The books are on their level and their interest. When we have silent reading time for 15 minutes, the students take out their bag of books and begin reading quietly on their own. It is so useful and large enough for their big books. The round table, chairs, and stools have completely transformed the space into a more welcoming, functional, and student-centered environment.\r\n\r\nThe furniture is already being put to great use. The round table has become a central gathering place where students feel comfortable sitting together for small-group counseling sessions, check-ins, lunch bunches, and collaborative activities. One especially meaningful moment was during a recent lunch bunch, where students sat around the table brainstorming ways to be more inclusive of others. The new seating arrangement allowed everyone to engage in active listening and communication in the best way. \r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the new furniture, their reactions were priceless. They immediately commented on how inviting and \"cozy\" the space felt. A few students even said it looked more like a place they wanted to talk and learn, rather than an office. The stools and chairs give them options, and having a choice in where to sit helps them feel more relaxed and engaged.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, my students are moving forward with lessons and projects focused on social-emotional learning in a more appropriate way. Currently, some students are working on self-awareness and communication, where they practice active listening, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
