My students love to read about many different subjects whether it be fantasy, tall tales, history, sports stars, space, or animals, they soak up everything they read. There are times that I struggle keeping the students in current event materials or high interest articles that are on the students' reading level. The students will be able to use the articles in the Time Magazines to help spark their interests into subjects they may never have been exposed to before. During the course of the day, we work in small reading groups. These magazines will allow me to vary the sources I use in small group. I can use the articles to help solidify the students reading skills we have been learning though out the year.
