These are things I usually purchase every year on my own to make sure I have them when school begins. With the triangle grip crayons, I am trying to help them learn how to grip correctly. The folders are used daily and go in their backpacks for any communication, papers or notes to parents from myself or the school. Many of our donors may not realize how essential these tools are in supporting language development, but they truly make a daily difference in our classroom.\r\n\r\nThe technology is helping my students learn in powerful ways.\r\nWith access to a working printer and colored ink, I can now provide clear, engaging visuals that help my students better understand new vocabulary, sentence structures, and content-area concepts. Visual supports are critical for English learners, and having the ability to quickly print pictures, anchor charts, vocabulary cards, and individualized resources has made lessons more accessible and meaningful for every student.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students most is seeing their learning come to life in color. Whether it's a vocabulary picture sort, a reading passage with highlighted supports, or a laminated center activity they can use again and again, the materials feel \"special\" and motivate them to participate. They take pride in using tools that look polished and professional.\r\n\r\nSome students have especially connected with the new resources.\r\nA few of my beginning-level English learners, who often feel nervous during whole-group lessons, have started showing more confidence because they now have laminated visuals and vocabulary cards they can hold, reuse, and refer to without fear of damaging them. One student in particular lights up every time we use the laminated sentence frames—he says it helps him \"know what to say\" during class discussions.\r\n\r\nThanks to these resources, my students are more engaged, more confident, and more excited to learn.
