Your kindness has made a meaningful difference for our students, and we are truly grateful for the opportunity to bring these new learning experiences into our room.\r\n\r\nSince receiving the materials, we have been using them to introduce skills they students will use for the rest of their lives. Students work with the play money, visual supports, and hands-on tools to practice identifying coins and bills, making simple choices, and matching items to prices. The students love using the large magnetic coins and bills to hold up when descriptors are called out. They also love sorting the play money into categories. \r\n\r\nBecause of your support, our next steps will involve building on these skills. Students will begin working on more advanced concepts such as identifying practices and shopping at a store. We are also planning to create a mock \"classroom market\" where students can independently practice making choices and completing transactions with visual assistance.\r\n\r\nYour donation has opened doors for learning, growth, and independence that our students may not have otherwise experienced. He is happy and it helps him to stay focused to get his work done.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the chairs they were all excited.
