Research shows students whose families are involved in school, complete homework consistently, earn higher grades, graduate, have better social skills, show improved behavior, have higher self -esteem, and positively impacts overall academic achievement. This project provides many activities to increase family involvement. During the pandemic we all have had periods where we work from home and this gives students additional learning opportunities that include family and do not require the computer or internet. This project will promote family involvement in students education. It will provide opportunities for partnership between school and home. It will help provide standard based materials to encourage fun hands on math and reading tools for families to work with their students.
