The project will help my students learning by being able to see plants grow. My students will be able to see many different plants grow in our planter. I can show them pictures from books but it doesn't bring it to life for them. I want my students to have hands on experiences. Because my students will be able to have hands on experiences, they will be able to share the information with their parents. They will also be able to learn the English words for plant, dirt, leaves, lamp and roots this is just an example of the many things they will be learning from this project. It will improve their lives for the better due to the fact they will be learning so much from this planter. Not only can I teach them vocabulary with it, I can teach them math and social studies. This will improve their lives by seeing how plants start from a seed and grow into a plant and maybe even one they can eat.
