Research shows that students benefit from flexible seating in the classroom. Flexible seating allows students to work where they feel comfortable. Like adults, children prefer to work in different positions and locations! Not all students prefer the traditional table and chair seating environment. These portable lap seats allow students to sit on the floor and still have a hard surface area to work on. Students can carry these light weight portable desks to different areas of the room. Whether they prefer to sit up front and close to the action or whether they like to sit in the back and have a quiet area, these seats will benefit all types of learners! These seats also work great in a traditional chair and allow the student to turn and face different areas of the room while still having a hard surface to work on without leaving their actual seat in the classroom.
