Because of your generosity, my classroom has been transformed into an even more engaging, welcoming, and well-equipped space for my students. Every item you helped provide — from cleaning supplies to classroom décor to instructional tools — has already begun to make a meaningful difference in our daily learning environment.\r\n\r\nFirst, I want to thank you for the essential cleaning supplies — the paper towels, disinfecting wipes, and boxes of Kleenex. These items might seem simple, but they are truly invaluable in maintaining a healthy and comfortable classroom. My students feel cared for when they know our space is clean and well-stocked, and I can focus more on teaching and less on worrying about running out of the basics. Your support ensures that our classroom remains a safe and organized place to learn, especially during cold and flu season.\r\n\r\nThe decorations you provided have added so much warmth and pride to our Spanish classroom. The Hispanic flags, colorful lights, and the beautiful map of the Spanish-speaking world have helped create an immersive and culturally rich environment. My students love seeing the flags that represent the diverse countries where Spanish is spoken, and many have started asking thoughtful questions about the cultures behind them. The digital clock has been surprisingly helpful too — not only does it keep us on track with transitions, but it also helps students practice telling time in Spanish during our lessons. These touches have truly brought the room to life and made it a space where students are excited to learn.\r\n\r\nThe classroom tools you funded have also had a huge impact on how I teach. The standing laptop desk has been a wonderful addition for classroom management. It allows me to move around freely while keeping my computer accessible, helping me monitor activities more effectively and engage more naturally with students. The clipboards have been a hit during speaking activities, gallery walks, and group work. Students love being able to move around the room while still having a sturdy surface for their notes and reflections. It's made our lessons feel more interactive and dynamic.\r\n\r\nThe headphones have already been put to great use during listening activities. They allow students to focus individually, especially during assessments and digital lessons, and they help me differentiate instruction more effectively. For many of my learners, being able to listen at their own pace has boosted confidence and comprehension.\r\n\r\nEach of these items — whether large or small — contributes to a classroom that is cleaner, brighter, and more effective for learning. My students notice and appreciate these improvements every single day, and I am deeply touched by your kindness and willingness to invest in our learning community. Your generosity reminds us that there are people who believe in the power of education and who care about helping students succeed.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making such a meaningful difference. Many had never worked with robotics before, so opening the boxes felt like opening the door to a whole new world. Right away, they began exploring the pieces, brainstorming what they could build, and asking questions about how the motors and sensors work. Their curiosity and enthusiasm filled the room, it was a joy to watch.\r\n\r\nSince then, we've been using LEGO SPIKE to connect math and computer science in meaningful ways. For example, students recently worked in small groups to build vehicles and then used coding blocks to program them to travel specific distances. They measured, calculated, and adjusted their code until the movement matched their predictions. One group was so proud when their robot successfully traveled exactly one meter, they jumped up and cheered! The next steps for our class include designing robots that can navigate mazes, which will challenge students to apply geometry, measurement, and coding in a hands-on, creative way.\r\n\r\nThank you for making this possible. Many of my students do not have opportunities at home to work with hands-on STEM tools, so being able to design and build working electrical circuits has been a game-changer. Instead of just reading about electricity, they are seeing it come alive in front of them, lighting bulbs, spinning fans, and creating sounds.\r\n\r\nOne of my quieter students, who often hangs back during traditional lessons, has really shined with Snap Circuits. He now confidently shows his classmates how to connect pieces and troubleshoot problems, and his pride is contagious. These kits have sparked curiosity and creativity in all my students, helping them imagine themselves as future engineers and problem-solvers. Whether they're staying for tutoring, homework help, or a quiet place to study, the snacks have helped them stay focused, comfortable, and ready to learn. One memorable moment was during a math review session—students were working hard on practice problems, and one of them said, \"I'm so glad we have snacks; my brain needed this fuel!\" It was a small comment, but it said everything.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the bins filled with snacks, their eyes lit up with surprise and appreciation. The snacks served as an extra motivator for our students who are working with the online tutors as well.
