Our students like students across the nation are struggling in science class to engage with the content since the pandemic started. We need snacks not only to movitivate them but to give them immediate gratification when they are successful. They say that the way to a person’s heart is through the stomach—I’d say that it’s also the way to the mind. These incentives will be used to assist students in learning and achieving immediate and short-term goals in classroom assignments. These sweet treats will also be used to reward or recognize students for good behavior and grades. The science kits will be used as incentive to recognize and encourage outstanding achievement in science.
