Our ESL department is starting an international soccer club. This will include 8 teams with ESL teachers as coaches and our international students as players. We are so excited to begin planning and implementing this awesome opportunity for our kiddos. Many of them have escaped war and have been in refugee camps. They have had little if any formal schooling and have not been provided opportunities to play sports or engage in extracurricular activities. This will help them to find their place here and also find their voice! It will encourage them to engage with other peers and provide a fun, safe activity for after school.

About my class
