Now, the moment they come in, they're greeted with a simple but powerful boost—something to eat that helps them recharge before diving into homework and tutoring.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments happened the very first day the snacks arrived. As soon as students saw the variety waiting for them, their faces lit up. Several of them said things like, \"We actually get snacks today?\" and you could feel the energy shift in the room. Students who usually start the session sluggish were suddenly alert, talkative, and ready to work. It was amazing to see how something as small as a snack could change their whole attitude.\r\n\r\nThe snacks have also created a sense of community. That short break helps them decompress and get into the right mindset for learning.
