As a history teacher I enjoy being able to share knowledge and participate with my students in conversations that affect the global community. As students growing up in the South Bronx, in one of the poorest districts in this country where all students qualify for free school lunch, many added stresses make focusing and participating in school and the learning environment very difficult. My students will greatly benefit from much needed supplies and classroom equipment.
