They use the technology to review results, compare trends, and create predictions as they prepare to discuss the upcoming June 23, 2026 Primary Election. This has strengthened their critical thinking, data analysis, and discussion skills while helping them better understand how civic processes affect their own lives.\r\n\r\nWhat excites students most is how \"real\" the learning feels. They're working with the same kinds of tools used by analysts and journalists, which makes them feel empowered and taken seriously as learners. Many students who were once hesitant to participate now confidently share insights, debate predictions, and support their ideas with evidence they've gathered themselves using the computer.\r\n\r\nThe snacks have touched students in a deeply meaningful way as well. Many of my 12th graders balance long school days with afterschool activities and community service.
