I work in a school with a large concentration of low-income families. Facing this challenge has developed a level of grit in my students that is to be commended; they don't give up. Their goal to attend college and choose a decent paying, career of choice is at the forefront. Immediate and timely access to a computer in my office will give my students the chance to keep up with technology and information, and greatly enrich their education like their peers in wealthy school districts. With this advanced technology, all of my students will benefit. In particular, my students can research careers, write their personal college essays, apply to colleges and apply for financial aid online.

About my class
