Hola a todos! Welcome to my DonorsChoose page. I am a lively (some may say "loca") Spanish teacher in a South Bronx charter high school. Although many of my students have had extensive exposure to the Spanish language, most have not had the opportunity to explore the many wonders that abound in both the language and the diverse cultures that speak it. We learn together what it really means to "be Spanish" and "eat Spanish food" while also exploring what it means to "be Mexican" or "eat Colombian food." We sing, we dance and discover another side of our personalities all while conjugating verbs (shhhh...our little secret) and learning to express ourselves in a new tongue.
