My 2nd graders use them every day during reading, math, and writing time. They love using the iPads to play learning games, practice math facts, listen to stories, and type or draw their answers. Some of my students use the speech-to-text feature to help them write their ideas without getting stuck on spelling or handwriting. Others listen to stories read aloud, which helps them follow along and build comprehension. In math, they use interactive visuals and games that make problem-solving fun like Zearn.\r\n\r\nThe kids get so excited when it's their turn to use an iPad. It's amazing to see students who used to get frustrated now feeling proud and confident. Before this project, it was difficult for him to fully engage in lessons or communicate his thoughts and needs. Now, thanks to your generosity, he's able to use real-time translation tools that help him understand lessons, directions, and peer conversations in the moment.\r\n\r\nThe technology has truly opened doors for learning. During reading lessons, he can listen to translated vocabulary and participate in partner activities with confidence. In math, he can follow along during small groups and respond to questions right away. The AirPods allow him to connect learning between English and Arabic seamlessly—something that simply wasn't possible before.\r\n\r\nWhat's most exciting for my students is how this small piece of technology has brought everyone closer together.
