A few students quietly hugged their toys to their chests, while others excitedly showed their classmates what they received. In that moment, they felt seen, valued, and remembered. It was more than just a gift it was a reminder that a caring community came together just for them.\r\n\r\nAlthough the toys were holiday gifts, they have continued to positively impact our classroom. Students have used their new games and creative toys during indoor recess and our community-building time, learning to share, cooperate, and problem-solve together. One especially meaningful moment was watching a student who is often shy invite others to play with their new board game. That small act of confidence sparked laughter and connection across the table.
