No matter what grade or age, developing a growth mindset is one of the most important tools we can learn. Life is about learning from our mistakes and learning how to solve problems. This project will provide a library of books and games to share with students and other classes that provide opportunities for conversation and classroom culture building. This project provides resources for developing and encouraging life long learning and growth mindsets. In order to learn about growth mindset, students need to read/listen to multiple examples in books, talk about growth/problems with their peers, and engage in games to make it joyfully come alive. Today, students see images of perfection everywhere and strive to not make mistakes, whether it be on tests, in relationships, or seeing "perfection" in the media. I want students to learn that mistakes happen and it is what we do we those mistakes that make the difference. This project can provide a starting point for our kids.
