Students who typically struggle in areas of focus when it comes to Storytime or cooperation with others were able to learn how to use manipulatives in a way that would bolster assistance in both. The Magna Titles helped self-working students understand dimensions and to think of different build dynamics as they pertain to shape construction. The Lego sets encouraged other building strategies that made them think about placement, as did the train set. For the train set practice and building, I was able to see the students talking with each other to determine their own teamwork in things like track alignment and job within the group working.\r\n\r\nStudents were also able to get additional enjoyment and stay more engaged during Storytime than they usually would thanks to humorous read-aloud books including \"Ants In My Pants\", \"If you Laugh, I'm Starting This Book Over\" and \"The Book With No Pictures\", the last of which they were able to use as means to come up with their own silly-sentencing structure in the companion self-editing book \"My Book With No Pictures\".\r\n\r\nThe Sentence Builder Puzzle and Reusable Write & Wipe Pockets were an opportunity for select students to practice trial and error with sentence, word and image placement.
