My students have been using these supplies in a variety of ways. We use the highlighters to segment multisyllabic words to develop reading fluency. The highlighters are also used during annotating. The students color code (ex- characters are blue, setting is green, and so forth) or to emphasis key details. The green pens have been great when working on reading skills. \r\n\r\nThe laminating pouches have helped me save money on resources and time, as I don't have to print or create as much. By laminating task cards, materials to send home, letter cards, etc. means I can use them over and over again.
